Add a little more BBQ sauce and two more slabs of tofu.
Then, top with the remaining BBQ sauce.

Remove from the grill and place back in the marinade until ready to use.
Then, cut it into strips or cubes

Preheat a non-stick pan to medium-low

Continue to turn until all sides are toasted.
Remove sandwiches from the pan and slice.
Serve with extra BBQ sauce
- For best results, marinate tofu overnight. Or, if meal prepping, marinate and freeze tofu. Then, thaw completely before cooking.
- Air frying is the quickest way to cook tofu. However, I prefer to grill tofu, especially in the summer months.
- Eat the sandwich cold instead of cooking it and browning it in a skillet.
- Add other vegetables inside the BBQ tofu sandwich.
- Try pineapple coleslaw for a sweet and barbeque combination.
- Sandwiches grill well in a pan without any oil.
