Skinny Blackberry Dijon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh organic blackberries washed
  • 3 Tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan, add blackberries.
  • On low heat, with a wooden spoon, stir and begin to smash teh berries, as they warm
  • Continue stirring and mashing until all the berries are smashed
  • Add dijon and maple syrup
  • Continue stirring until you get a jelly/jam type of consistency
  • Remove from heat.
  • You can serve warm or cold
  • It will store in the refrigerator for 1 week...if it lasts that long.
