Air Fryer Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into equal sized florets
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Herbs de Provence

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees.
  • Cut broccoli into equal-sized florets.
  • Wash the broccoli florets and transfer to a bowl.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice onto the broccoli florets and toss, coating the florets.
  • Sprinkle seasonings and toss the florets again.
  • Place broccoli florets on an air fryer pan, or in the base of the air fryer in a single layer.
  • If batch cooking, preheat an oven to 325 degrees and prepare a baking sheet to keep the cooked batches warm.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes ,depending on the size of the florets.
  • Serve with mustard dipping sauce or nacho cheese sauce.

Notes

  • Cut the florets into equal-sized pieces, so they cook evenly.
  • Smaller florets require less cooking time. 
  • Preheating the air fryer helps to prevent ender cooking. 
  • Use parchment paper under the basket to make cleaning up easier. 
  • Save the broccoli stems to grate into slaws and salads, or chop them and add them to stir-fries or soups and stews. 
  • Choose different seasoning blends to make different versions of air fryer broccoli. 
  • Kids love the vegan nacho cheese sauce!
