To Cleanse or Not to Cleanse?

    cleansing

Although I eat whole foods, plant-based diet, there are times when we all fall to pressure and eat foods we shouldn't eat. Despite the efforts to only eat clean food, sometimes vegan junk food tempts even the strongest wills. I am no different, which I am sure many of you can relate to.

More often than not, I fall off the healthy vegan wagon by indulging in a vegan dessert, or I eat something fried instead of baked.

With that in mind, cleansing, for even the healthiest body, is a great way to restart your healthy lifestyle. First and foremost, you need to find a healthy cleanse. In my opinion, drinking only water for a week is an example of an unhealthy cleansing approach. Although I am sure this method is effective, I don't suggest starving yourself for health.

Instead, there are many healthy juicing cleanses which will provide you the results you are looking for without sacrificing your health and well-being.

To choose the right to cleanse and the amount of time depends on your goal. For instance, we cleanse twice a year. I personally have found success in completing 5 days of cleansing twice a year. There are a variety of packages you can choose from.

First, you need to decide if you will juice yourself, which is extremely expensive and time-consuming. It also requires your own juicer. I have used two companies which I recommend.

When I lived in Michigan, I used Pressed Juicery, which proves several different types of cleanses. Not only does this company provide choices, it even quizzes you to determine the type of cleansing that meets your specific needs. Pressed Juicery delivers to your home in a beautifully packed cooler with instructions on how to cleanse.

In Arizona, I am fortunate to have Nektar Juice Bar right down the street. Again, this company provides various cleansing options, but I am lucky enough to pick it up after ordering online. You can see if you have a Nektar in your area by clicking on the link above.

Regardless of the source you choose, the bottles come numbered, and instructions follow. I wasn't hungry once during the 5 days, and I felt like a million dollars on day five. It would be best if you gave it a try.
