Tips
- When meal prepping any fall vegan soups, remember to freeze any extras. Use Solo cups to freeze soup for individual servings.
- Always allow soup to cool to room temperature before freezing.
- Another way to freeze soup is to use a measuring cup and pour the contents into ziplock bags. And then, label each bag with a permanent marker, identify the type of soup and write the date on the bag.
- For individual servings, I suggest quart-sized ziplock bags (4-cup freezer-safe plastic or glass containers)
- To avoid freezer burn, I recommend lining the top of your soup with a piece of plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.
- I recommend using Souper Cubes to freeze soups for the fall.
Try healthy, oil-free, savory fall soups as the weather cools and you seek comfort foods. Not only are these soup recipes for the fall delicious, but they will warm you from the inside out.
